§ 30.07 PAYMENT OF TELEPHONE BILLS.
   (A)   The City Auditor is hereby directed and shall reimburse the Mayor, the Safety Service Director, the Police Chief, the Fire Chief, and the Law Director, and the Maintenance Department Foreman their respective telephone bills for the prior month.
   (B)   Such reimbursement shall cover the costs of the general telephone services, maintenance fee, and touch tone service. All other elected services or long distance bills shall continue to be the sole responsibility of that individual. With the exception that long distance calls made from residences concerning city business shall be reimbursed by the city to those named in this section.
   (C)   This practice has been historically documented in the city. However, under the latest state audit, it was indicated that this practice should be placed in ordinance in order to comply with state law.
