8-4-4: WATER SERVICE CONNECTIONS:
   A.   Application: Applications to have water turned on shall be made in writing to the City Clerk, on a form for that purpose provided by the City Clerk. Upon approval thereof, the application shall constitute a contract between the applicant as customer and the City, obligating the applicant as customer to pay for the water service in accordance with applicable rate schedules, and to comply with all applicable provisions of the rules, regulations and conditions of service outlined in this title and as promulgated in other ordinances and regulations of the city council.
   B.   Fees: A fee of twenty five dollars ($25.00) shall be paid along with the application to turn on the water, which fee will not be refundable, and will be payable in all instances where water is to be turned on. In addition, a further twenty five dollar ($25.00) fee will be charged in the following instances:
      1.   Any turn on/off done after regular business hours;
      2.   Any turn on/off after water has been shut off for nonpayment or other violation of city ordinance or policy. (Ord. 147, 1980; amd. Ord. 152, 1980; Ord. 302, 1994; 2000 Code)
