A. There is hereby established a minimum charge and a basic user rate for the use of and for service supplied by the wastewater facilities of the City:
1. A minimum charge of four dollars and seventy-five cents ($4.75) per month to all users whose water consumption does not exceed one thousand (1,000) gallons per month starting July 1st, 2021. On May 1st, 2022, such minimum charge will increase to five dollars and twenty-five cents ($5.25) per month. After April 30th, 2023, the minimum charge for wastewater shall increase two percent (2%) annually on May 1st of each year .
2. In addition, a basic user rate of four dollars and seventy-five cents ($4.75) per thousand gallons metered in excess of one thousand gallons (1,000) per month starting July 1st, 2021. On May 1st, 2022, such minimum charge will increase to five dollars and twenty-five cents ($5.25) per month. After April 30th, 2023, the minimum charge for wastewater shall increase two percent(2%) annually on May 1st of each year. (Ord. 819, 5-25-2021)
