The City of Chenoa hereby adopts rules 570 through 579 of the Illinois Supreme Court Rules otherwise known as the Rules and Procedures for Non-Traffic/Non-Conservation Ordinance Violations. One of the ways that Chenoa will enforce its ordinances is through the issuance of a charging document. Such document will be served by a peace officer, Code Enforcement Officer, or as otherwise authorized by law to any potential violator of City ordinances and shall set forth the ordinance violation and the amounts of such violations. The charging document shall meet the requirements as set forth by the Illinois Supreme Court Rules and only for violations that are not in excess of seven hundred fifty dollars ($750.00).
