§ 71.04  UNLAWFUL OPERATION.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for a person to operate a snowmobile in the city in the following manner or under the following conditions:
      (1)   At a rate of speed greater 15 miles per hour;
      (2)   On or across a cemetery or burial ground;
      (3)   Within 100 feet of a slide, ski or skating area;
      (4)   On private property without consent of the property owner or his agent;
      (5)   With more than one passenger on a snowmobile;
      (6)   While towing any conveyance other than one specifically designed to be towed by a snowmobile;
      (7)   Between the hours of 12:00 midnight and 7:00 a.m.;
      (8)   In any parade or safari unless specifically authorized by the Police Chief with adequate safeguards for policing and appropriate escort.
   (B)   Any person operating a snowmobile within the city limits shall:
      (1)   Operate the snowmobiles only on designated city streets, sidewalks or DNR trail as provided herein, and travel only in single file;
      (2)   Obey all traffic signals, signs and devices;
      (3)   Yield the right-of-way to all vehicular traffic and pedestrians.
   (C)   No snowmobile may be operated on any state trunk line within the city or on Huron Street from State Street to Court Street.
