3-2-24: TEMPORARY PERMITS:
   A.   The Local Liquor Control Commissioner shall have the power to issue the temporary permit for a fee of twenty five dollars ($25.00) for the sale or dispensing of beer and/or other alcoholic beverages to be consumed on the premises at a banquet, picnic, bazaar, fair or similar private or public assembly where food or drink is sold, served or dispensed.    B.   Such a temporary permit may, in the discretion of the Local Liquor Control Commissioner, be issued to a private party, club, society, fraternal or benevolent organization not for profit and/or other duly licensed retail liquor dealers.
   C.   Such temporary permit shall specifically state whether or not beer only or other alcoholic beverages can be sold, served or dispensed at said event. The temporary permit will specify the time period for which it is valid, which shall not be longer than three (3) days.
   D.   Before the temporary permit may be issued, the applicant or owner of the premises must show proof of valid existing dram shop insurance to cover any liability which may be incurred on account of said event. (1990 Code § 11.310)
