The regulations contained in the Village Building Code are hereby adopted as the regulations governing the construction of buildings and other structures in the Village, and it shall be unlawful to erect or construct any building or structure in the Village in violation of, or without complying with, the appropriate provisions of such regulations. Copies of such code shall be kept on file in the Village Clerk's Office for inspection and three (3) copies shall be furnished to the building inspector. (Ord. 03-10, 9-15-2003; amd. 2019 Code)
The term "building official", as used in the Village Building Code, shall mean the building inspector or any other officer of the Village designated by the Village Board of Trustees having the duty to enforce the Village building regulations. (Ord. 03-10, 9-15-2003)
