A. Superintendent Of Public Works:
1. Appointment: A General Superintendent of Public Works (the waterworks and sewage system) shall be appointed by the Village President, with the approval of the Village Board of Trustees expressed by ordinance. It being hereby determined and declared that the appointment of any Superintendent thereof is necessary and expedient for the best interest of the Village.
2. Qualifications; Bond: The Superintendent of Public Works shall qualify for office in the same manner as any elected official of the Village and shall post such bond in such amount as may be determined by the Village President.
B. Department Employees: All necessary employees of the Public Works Department and each division thereof shall likewise be approved by the Village President, with the approval of the Village Board of Trustees expressed by ordinance. (Ord. 05-05, 6-20-2005)
