When work is complete, the applicant shall notify the Streets and Alleys Committee that the work is ready for inspection. The inspection will be conducted by the Chair or other member of the Streets and Alleys Committee or a representative of the Village Engineer or other person authorized by the Village Board of Trustees. Should the work be found unacceptable, the applicant shall have thirty (30) days within which to upgrade the construction to meet the requirements of this chapter. If, at the end of that time, the work is still unacceptable, the Village may complete the work, and the applicant and/or owner of the property shall reimburse the Village for costs incurred.
