§ 62-3 INTERPRETATION.
   The provisions of this chapter shall be held to be the minimum requirements adopted for the promotion and preservation of public health, safety and general welfare of the city. This chapter is not intended to repeal, abrogate, annul or in any manner interfere with existing regulations or laws of the city nor conflict with any statutes of the state or the county, except that this chapter shall prevail in cases where this chapter imposes a greater restriction than is provided by existing statutes, laws or regulations.
