§ 2-196 REQUEST FOR DISPOSAL.

Whenever the Chief of Police has any lost, unclaimed, recovered or stolen property, including money, which is unclaimed for 6 months after recovery, he shall report the fact to the City Council and request authority from the City Council to dispose of it as provided in this division.
