§ 2-111 CREATED; COMPOSITION; APPOINTMENT; TERMS OF OFFICE; VACANCIES; QUALIFICATIONS.
   (A)   The Compensation Commission is hereby created which shall be responsible for and have the duty of determining the salaries of all elected officials.
   (B)   The Commission shall consist of 5 members who are registered electors of the city. The members shall be appointed by the Mayor, subject to the approval of a majority of the members of the City Council elected and serving.
   (C)   The term of office shall be for a period of 5 years. Members shall be appointed before October 1 of the year of appointment.
   (D)   Vacancies on the Commission shall be filled for the remainder of the unexpired term.
   (E)   No member or employee of the legislative, judicial or executive branch of any level of government or members of the immediate family of such member or employee shall be eligible to be a member of the Commission.
