The City Clerk shall be the Clerk of the Municipal Court. Such Court Clerk and any Deputy Clerk or Clerks shall, by virtue of their office, be empowered to administer oaths and do all things required of and permitted to them by law, including Section 28 of Act No. 279 of the Public Acts of 1909, as amended, subject to audit as in such section required.
