The city adopts the current edition of the NFPA Life Safety Code by reference by the city for the purpose of safeguarding life and property from the hazards of fire and explosion arising from the storage, handling and use of hazardous substances, materials and devices and from conditions hazardous to life or property in the use of occupancy of buildings or premises. Complete printed copies of the NFPA Life Safety Code of the American Insurance Association, herein adopted, are available for public use and inspection at the office of the City Clerk.
