(A) Except as herein otherwise provided, water to be furnished by the system to any premises shall be measured by a meter or meters installed and controlled by the city, and charges per meter for such metered water service to any premises within the city connected with the water supply system, for each quarterly (three months) period, shall be at the following rate or rates: the rates now in effect for premises within the city shall continue as to such premises until changed pursuant to resolution of the City Council.

(B) (1) Charges for sewage disposal service shall be levied upon all premises having any sewer connection with the public sewers.
(2) The rates now in effect for premises within the city shall continue as to such premises until changed pursuant to resolution of the City Council.
