(A) The terms used herein shall have the same meaning as given to those terms in Public Act 57 of 2018, being M.C.L.A. §§ 125.4201 to 152.4230, as amended, or as hereinafter in this section provided unless the context clearly indicates to the contrary.
(B) For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
ACT 197. Public Act 57 of 2018, being M.C.L.A. §§ 125.4201 to 152.4230.
AUTHORITY. The Charlevoix Downtown Development Authority created by this subchapter.
BOARD. The governing body of the city’s Downtown Development Authority.
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER. The Mayor of the city.
CITY. The City of Charlevoix, Michigan.
COUNCIL or CITY COUNCIL. The City Council of the city.
DOWNTOWN DISTRICT. The Downtown District designated by this subchapter as now existing or hereinafter amended.
