A one-time water utility sale credit will be provided to all customers of the city’s water utility for use in satisfying ongoing bills for city sanitary sewer and/or city sanitation bills received by those water utility customers, under the following conditions.
(A) The water utility sale credit is only available to persons and legal entities that had accounts as customers of the city’s water utility on March 5, 2018 (the “customers”). Water utility customers with accounts opened after that date will not be eligible for the water utility sale credit.
(B) The water utility sale credit is only available to customers who receive uninterrupted water utility service from IAWC.
(C) The water utility sale credit will automatically be used to reduce the amount owed by customers for monthly city sanitary sewage and sanitation charges. If the amount of the water utility sale credit exceeds the city sanitary sewage and sanitation charges owed by the customer, the excess amount of the monthly water utility sale credit is forfeited.
(D) The amount of the monthly water utility sale credit available to each customer is depicted in division (E) below.
(E) The water utility sale credit shall be available for a period of four years, in the monthly amounts as follows:
