If any employee of the city is convicted, in a court of law, of a criminal offense involving alcohol or controlled substances, the employee is subject to immediate termination of employment. If any employee of the city is charged, in a court of law, of a criminal offense involving alcohol or controlled substances, the employee is subject to suspension, with or without pay, at the discretion of the Board of Public Works.
