(A) The city shall hold the applicant directly responsible for all work performed under the permit.
(B) Any person, firm or corporation making a street cut or performing any construction work in the city will file with the city, evidence acceptable to the city that the person, firm or corporation making the cut and performing any construction work in the streets, right-of-way and/or easement of the city has sufficient expertise and ability to perform the work in a timely, prudent, safe and professional manner and shall execute an indemnification and hold harmless agreement to the city along with a certificate of insurance for personal and property in an amount determined by the City Engineer.
