§ 153.47 FIRE HYDRANTS.
   Fire hydrants shall be located adjacent to roadway intersections and in the center of blocks 1,000 feet or more in length. If any consecutive blocks are 300 feet each, or less, the installations of hydrants at every second intersection will provide satisfactory spacing. Location, spacing, type and size of fire hydrants shall be subject to approval of the responsible fire authority for the area in which the subdivision is located and the State Fire Marshal where so provided by the statute.
