1759.08 SCHEDULE OF REGISTRY FEES.

   (a)   The registration fees for Vacant Properties and Vacant Structures will be charged each year and are as follows:

      (1)   Less than one year:         $100

      (2)   One year, an additional:      $200

      (3)   Two years, an additional:      $400

      (4)   Three years, an additional:      $600

      (5)   Four years, an additional:      $800

      (6)   Five years, an additional:      $1600

      (7)   Plus, an additional $1,000 per year for each year thereafter.

   (b)   Involuntarily Registration. Any vacant property existing upon the registry, and not voluntarily registered pursuant to Article 1759.03(b), will be subject to registration fees each year in accordance with the schedule above, with the exception of the initial fee, which shall be assessed at twice the rate.

   (c)   In addition to the above registration fees, there shall be added the following fees for uninhabitable vacant structures, which will be charged each year in the amounts as follows:

      (1)   Less than 200 days:      $0

      (2)   More than 200 days:      $2,000

      (3)   One year, an additional:   $4,000

      (4)   Plus, an additional $2,000 per year for each year thereafter.

   (d)   Provided however, that if within forty-five days of the receipt of notification, as described above under 1759.04(e)(3), the property owner works in good faith and a reasonably timely fashion, as determined by the Code Official, said fees may be waived, however, failure to comply, or failure to achieve reasonable progress, thereafter will result in the immediate reinstatement of all applicable fees.
