That certain document, three (3) copies of which were heretofore placed on file in the Office of the City Clerk, being marked and designated the International Residential Code, 2006 edition, as published by the International Code Council, Incorporated, is hereby adopted as the Residential Building Code of the City, for the control of building one- and two-family dwelling structures as herein defined, and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of the International Residential Code, 2006 edition, are hereby referred to, adopted and made a part hereof, as if fully set forth in this chapter, subject to the modifications, exceptions and additional regulations set out in section 9-2-2 of this chapter.
