That certain document, three (3) copies of which were heretofore placed on file in the office of the city clerk, being marked and designated the international building code, 2009 edition, as published by the International Code Council, Incorporated, is hereby adopted as the building code of the city, for the control of building structures as herein defined, and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of the international building code, 2009 edition, are hereby referred to, adopted and made a part hereof, as if fully set forth in this chapter, subject to the modifications, exceptions and additional regulations set out in section 9-1-2 of this chapter.
