7-2-3: PROHIBITED LIGHTING:
   A.   Definitions:
    ATHLETIC FIELD LIGHT: Athletic field light shall include any and all lighting devices designed for the purpose of illuminating an athletic field so as to project light and allow athletic competition in the evening hours.
   MUNICIPAL PARK: Includes Kiwanis park, Sister City park, Heritage Woods park, Lafferty park, Lakeview park, Riverside park, North park, Reasor park, Hall park, Messick park, VFW park and any other real estate acquired by the city and utilized as a city park with the exception of the Lake Island tract area.
   STREETLAMP: Streetlamp shall be defined as a lighting device which stands no greater than fifteen feet (15') off the ground and projects a light no greater than thirty feet (30') in diameter and shall specifically exclude any lighting devices utilized for the purposes of illuminating athletic fields.
   B.   Prohibited Lighting In Certain Parks: There shall exist no athletic field lighting in Kiwanis park, Sister City park or Heritage Woods park. (Ord. 92-O-37, 12-15-1992)
