A. Trucks And Semitrailers: It shall be unlawful to park any vehicle licensed to operate as a tow truck or as a truck-tractor or semitrailer or any truck with a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of twelve thousand one (12,001) pounds or greater, as defined in 625 Illinois Compiled Statutes, on any street located in an area zoned R-1, R-2, or R-3 or on any public right of way that measures less than forty feet (40') in width unless said vehicle or truck is actively involved in loading, unloading, making a service call or relocating a vehicle in the immediate vicinity of where such vehicle is parked.
B. Farm Equipment And Trailers: It shall be unlawful to park farm tractors, implements of husbandry and trailers without motive power that are drawn by motor vehicles on public streets except during authorized construction or service activity. (Ord. 99-O-3, 1-5-1999)
