A. Garbage and rubbish shall be disposed of by contract with a scavenger licensed under chapter 3, article A of this title.
B. 1. Landscape waste shall be disposed of by the following methods:
a. Contract with a private scavenger service for disposal as allowed by State Statute.
b. Composting on the site of origin.
c. Other methods as approved by State law.
2. Disposal of landscape waste in a landfill is strictly prohibited.
C. Burning of garbage and rubbish is strictly prohibited.
D. Composting on the site of origin must be done within a wire mesh enclosure so as to prevent blowing and scattering of the waste. (Ord. 99-O-35, 7-20-1999)
