A. Regular Meetings: The regular meetings of the Council shall be held the first and third Tuesdays of each month at the hour of six thirty o'clock (6:30) P.M. in the Council Chambers of City Hall. (Ord. 13-O-16, 7-16-2013, eff. 8-6-2013)
B. Special Meetings: Special meetings may be called by the Mayor or any two (2) Commissioners upon a twenty four (24) hour notice to every member of the Council; provided, that the requirements of a notice shall not be binding in any special meeting at which all of the members of the Council are present, as is provided by statute. Such notices may be served by any member of the Police Department or by any other person in the City, and it shall be the duty of the Clerk, when given copies of such notices, to serve the same or cause the same to be served immediately.
C. Open Meetings: All meetings of the Council shall be open to the public pursuant to 5 Illinois Compiled Statutes 120/1 et seq. (Ord. 96-O-64, 12-17-1996, eff. 5-6-1997)
