The Charleston tree commission shall consist of nine (9) members, said members being appointed by the mayor with the consent of the city council, with said terms being for three (3) years. It is the intent that the terms of four (4) members shall commence in one calendar year and the terms of five (5) members shall commence the following calendar year. (Ord. 96-O-25, 5-7-1996; amd.
