A. The parks and recreation advisory board shall serve as an advisory board, making recommendations to the city council for the following items:
1. Park master planning.
2. Budget and financial planning.
3. Policies related to the use of the parks and recreational facilities.
4. Fee structures.
5. Capital improvements.
6. Other matters as directed by the city council.
B. The advisory board shall have the authority to develop and implement recreational activities and programs without council approval, provided such activities and programs are financially feasible. The board shall forward a summary of the recreational programs offered at least once each quarter to the city council for informational purposes. (Ord. 00-O-38, 8-15-2000)
