(a) Purpose. The purpose of a construction inspection is to review work as it progresses for compliance with the approved plans, the terms and conditions of City approvals and Municipal requirements, standards and specifications.
(b) Conformance with Previous Submittals. No construction work shall be approved unless it conforms with the approved Construction Documents. A field change request may be filed during construction by the applicant in accordance with Section 1111.503 (Field Change Request).
(c) Scheduling Inspections. The applicant shall contact and coordinant directly with the City Water and Sewer Department, Streets and Storm Sewer Department, Chardon Fire Prevention Bureau and the City's inspectors to schedule required inspections during construction in the manner prescribed during the preconstruction meeting. The applicant sshould contact the inspecting agency at least three (3) business days before the requested inspection date.
(d) Submittal Contents. A inspection request shall include payment of construction inspection and testing deposits and fees.
