§ 32.40 ESTABLISHED; DUTIES.
   (A)   There is hereby established a position within the village which shall be known as the Community Development Department Trustee, who shall be a member of the Board of Trustees. The Community Development Department Trustee shall serve as a liaison between the Corporate Authorities, the Village Administrator and the Director of Community Development with respect to matters and policies concerning:
      (1)   Zoning, building and related ordinances of the village;
      (2)   Annexation of property to the village;
      (3)   Reviewing and amending the comprehensive plan and zoning map;
      (4)   The Planning and Zoning Commission;
      (5)   New computers or technology related equipment;
      (6)   Review of short- and long-range planning for technology improvements;
      (7)   Work with economic development groups to continuously foster positive community image and economic growth; and
      (8)   Periodically review code enforcement policies.
   (B)   The Community Development Department Trustee shall make such reports to the Corporate Authorities as may be necessary to keep them informed on all matters pertaining to the Department and shall make such records in relation to any such matters as he or she deems proper for action by the Corporate Authorities.
