No person, firm or corporation shall operate, keep, use, permit the use of, install or maintain within the village for business or the use of the public any vending machine, automatic or otherwise any device which is designed and used strictly as a vendor of merchandise or service and which is not an amusement device, or any coin-operated machine dispensing goods of whatsoever sort such as but not limited to food, coffee, alcoholic beverages of any sort, milk, cigarettes, candy, peanuts, soft drinks, popcorn, gum or other commodity, without a license therefor, nor shall any person, firm or corporation allow to be installed, operated or maintained by one other than a licensee hereunder, any such machine on premises controlled by him. This chapter shall apply to all vending machines not licensed and regulated under Chapter 112.
