(A) A quorum shall consist of a majority of the appointed members. All decisions or actions of the Arts and Culture Commission shall be made by a majority vote of those members present and voting at any meeting where a quorum exists. Regular meetings shall be held monthly. Special meetings shall be held at the call of the chair. These meeting dates will be approved by the Village of Channahon Board of Trustees at the beginning of each calendar year.
(B) No members of the Arts and Culture Commission shall vote on any matter that may materially or apparently affect the property, income or business interest of that member, or if otherwise prohibited by law. All meetings of the Arts and Culture Commission shall be open to the public unless properly closed under the Illinois Open Meetings Act. The Arts and Culture Commission shall keep minutes of its proceedings, showing the vote, indicating such fact, and shall keep records of its examinations and other official actions, all of which shall be immediately filed in the office of the Village Clerk and shall be a public record.
