§ 95.63 APPLICATION REVIEW PROCESS.
   The following list describes the application process for an honorary street name designation:
   (A)   The applicant must fill out an application requesting the designation;
   (B)   Nominations solely based on commercial or corporate-related identification shall not qualify for the program;
   (C)   There shall be only one honorary street designation per section of street;
   (D)   The honorary street designation shall not conflict with any other official street name.
   (E)   The applicant shall pay a filing fee of $100 to cover administration costs plus the cost of the production of the sign.
   (F)   The application shall be reviewed and recommended by Village staff with final determination and approval by the Channahon Village Board;
   (G)   A designation for an individual may only be granted posthumously;
   (H)   Once installed, the designated street sign shall be maintained by the village for no more than 20 years, after which the sign will be provided to the applicant or his/her designee.
