The utility shall remove all excess material and restore all turf, terrain and other property, all to the satisfaction of the village, within ten days after any portion of the right-of-way is disturbed, damaged or destroyed due to construction or maintenance by the utility. This includes restoration of entrances and side roads. Restoration of roadway surfaces shall be made using materials and methods approved by the Village Director of Public Works. Such cleanup and repair may be required to consist of backfilling, regrading, reseeding, resodding or any other requirement to restore the right-of-way to a condition substantially equivalent to that which existed prior to the commencement of the project. Seed or sod shall be watered within 24 hours after placement. Water shall be applied at a rate of two gallons per square yard. Additional water shall be applied at the same rateevery day for nine additional waterings. Watering shall be done before 10:00 a.m. or after 4:00 p.m. The time periods provided in this section may be adjusted by the Village Director of Public Works for good cause shown.
