It shall be unlawful to discharge a firearm within the corporate limits of the village, except:
(A) Peace officers who are participating in target shooting and firearms-related training at the Channahon Police Department Firearms Training Facility;
(B) Persons engaged in wildlife hunting in conformance with all applicable local, state and county laws provided that such hunting occurs west of Tabler Road;
(C) Peace officers in the performance of public duty; and
(D) Persons in defense of their person or property as otherwise provided by law.
