Application for such permits shall be made by the persons desiring the same, or their agents, to the Village Clerk. When application is made, plans and specifications shall be submitted for examination and approval by the Director of Roads and Drainage, or his authorized representative. Plans and specifications shall comply with all applicable village ordinances and regulations. Upon approval, the Village Clerk shall issue or cause to be issued a permit and shall maintain a copy thereof, together with the application on file.
