The purpose of this subchapter is to provide for the regulation of nonconforming uses, buildings, structures and to specify those circumstances and conditions under which those nonconforming buildings, structures, and uses may be continued, in accordance with the authority granted by ILCS Ch. 65, Act 5 § 11-13-1.
