Chickens are permitted in the R-1, R-2, RE-1, RE-2, A-1 and A-2 Zoning Districts. No person shall keep chickens in the R-1, R-2, RE-1 or RE-2 Districts without first obtaining a license therefore issued by the village. Any pen, coop, building or other enclosure used for the housing of hens may be erected only after obtaining a building permit as provided for herein. No license shall be issued unless permitted by the village zoning ordinance. Licences are not required in the A-1 and A-2 Zoning Districts.
