§ 52.020 CONNECTION REQUIRED.
   (A)   It is hereby found and determined that connection to the system is presumed to be "feasible" whenever any village water main, line, pipe, gate or valve supplying adequate capacity appropriate for connection to the system is located within 250 feet of any dwelling, residence, structure, place of business, public building or other premise to which the supply of water would be necessary, convenient or desirable.
   (B)   Every new and existing dwelling, residence, structure, place of business, public building or other premise to which the supply of water would be necessary, convenient or desirable within the corporate limits of the village to which the supply of public water is feasible as herein declared, shall, within 90 days after such water service is feasible, tie into such public water supply and discontinue the use of any private well, community well or other supply of water except as herein provided. There might be circumstances when specific geographic, topographic or other conditions make it impracticable to connect to the public water supply notwithstanding the fact that such water supply is within 250 feet, in such case a petition may be filed requesting that the Corporate Authorities not require such connection. The Corporate Authorities may then require the connection or may postpone such connection as it deems appropriate.
