§ 52.003 SUPERVISION AND MANAGEMENT OF SYSTEM.
   (A)   The Director and such other agents and/or employees as designated by the Corporate Authorities shall have the supervision, management and control of the maintenance and operation of the system.
   (B)   The Director shall have supervision over all buildings and equipment used and the furnishings of water service in the village, and shall see that the system is operated properly, efficiently and economically. In this regard, it shall be the duty of the Director and all of the employees and agents of such Department to enforce all of the provisions of this chapter and to observe and obey and carry out the orders and directions of the Corporate Authorities. The Director shall prepare and keep in his office a complete atlas of the waterworks system together with all valves, hydrants, water service connections and other appurtenances distinctly recorded therein.
   (C)   The Director shall monthly submit to the Corporate Authorities a report in writing including the following data as of the last day of the month last preceding:
      (1)   Billings for services rendered;
      (2)   Collections;
      (3)   Volume of water pumped, billed and unaccounted for;
      (4)   Number of customers connected to the system at the beginning and the end of period;
      (5)   Details of any major repairs and extensions to the system or other facts pertinent to his duties in the conduct of his office.
