The Board of Trustees shall consist of the President and six trustees elected for a four-year term. Three members shall be elected every two years. The Board of Trustees is the legislative body of the village and is the repository of all municipal powers which have not been specifically delegated to some other office, commission, committee or board. The appointment of all officers, commissions, committees and boards shall be subject to the approval of the Board of Trustees and the hiring and dismissal of all employees of the village shall also be subject to approval of the Board of Trustees.
