AN ORDINANCE REZONING CERTAIN DESCRIBED PROPERTY FROM CLASSIFICATION R-1, RESIDENTIAL, SINGLE-FAMILY, TO CLASSIFICATION C-2, GENERAL COMMERCIAL, REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES AND REGULATIONS IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHANDLER, OKLAHOMA:
Section 1. That the following described real estate be rezoned and reclassified from
Classification R-1, Residential, Single-Family, to C-2 General Commercial District:
A tract of land described as commencing at a point 33 feet South and 601 feet East of the Northeast corner of East Chandler Addition to the City of Chandler, Oklahoma, according to the recorded plat thereof; thence east 142 feet; thence South 9 3/10ths chains (found 574.47'); thence West 142 feet; thence North 9
3/10ths chains (found 573.23') to the point of beginning, the same being part of the
Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter (NE/4 NW/4) of Section Ten (10), Township Fourteen (14) North, Range Four (4) East of the Indian Meridian, LESS AND EXCEPT all oil, gas and other minerals,
Section 2. That all ordinances and zoning regulations in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3. That the provisions of this ordinance are severable and if any part or provision hereof shall be held void by a court of competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect or impair any of the remaining parts or provisions of this ordinance.
Section 4. EMERGENCY. Whereas, it being necessary for the preservation of the peace, health and safety of the City of Chandler, Oklahoma, and the inhabitants thereof, that the provisions of this ordinance be put into full force and effect instanter, an emergency is hereby declared to exist by reason whereof this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage as provided by law.
