2-3-2: DEPARTMENT OF EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT:
There is hereby established under the executive branch of the government of the city a department of emergency management, which shall consist of: (1985 Code § 13-302; amd. 2003 Code)
   A.   A director of emergency management who shall be appointed by the city manager, and when necessary for the good of the service, suspended, demoted, or removed by the city manager. (Ord. 2015-10, 12-8-2015)
   B.   An emergency management advisory committee. This committee shall consist of the mayor as chairman and five (5) members appointed by the mayor and serving at his pleasure. The committee shall select from its members a vice chairman and secretary. It shall hold such meetings as are directed by the mayor or the director of emergency management.
