A. Rules: The planning commission shall adopt rules in accordance with the provisions of this title, so long as they are in conformity with chapter 14 of this title.
B. Meetings:
1. Meetings of the planning commission shall be held at the call of the chairman and at such other times as the planning commission may determine.
2. The chairman, or in his absence, the acting chairman, may administer oaths and compel the attendance of witnesses.
3. All meetings of the board shall be open to the public.
4. The planning commission shall keep minutes of its proceedings, showing the vote of each member upon each question, or if absent or failing to vote, indicating such fact, and shall keep records of its examinations and other official actions, all of which shall be immediately filed in the office of the city clerk and shall be a public record.
5. The concurring vote of a simple majority of those present and voting shall be necessary to transact any business.
6. The failure to act within the time allotted, not to exceed seventy five (75) days shall be treated as a recommendation to deny, unless the applicant agrees to the delay. (Ord. 2007-06, 4-2-2007)
