A. Creation: There is hereby created for the city a planning commission with the powers and duties as hereinafter set forth.
B. Membership; Terms: The planning commission shall be composed of five (5) members, citizens of the city, each appointed by the mayor with the approval of the city council for a term of three (3) years; provided however, that existing appointees shall continue to serve for the remainder of their current term. All appointments thereafter shall be for a term of three (3) years.
C. Chairman: The planning commission shall elect a chairman from its membership to serve for a term of two (2) years. (Ord. 2007-06, 4-2-2007)
