It shall be the duty of the code enforcement officer, appointed by the city manager, to enforce this title. If the code enforcement officer shall find that any of the provisions of this title are being violated, he shall indicate the nature of the violation and order the action necessary to correct it, and shall take such other action as is authorized by law to ensure compliance with or to prevent violations of its provision.
