A. Permit Required: Electrical permits are required for any person to install a new circuit, expand an existing circuit by three (3) or more devices, or the addition, alteration or changing of a breaker box or fuse box exceeding sixty (60) amperes. Such permits are required prior to beginning said work.
B. Application For Permit: Applications for permits shall be made to the city, and the applicant shall provide such plans, specifications and other data as may be required by the code official.
C. Fee: Upon approval of the application by the city, the applicant shall pay the permit fee as set by the city council by motion or resolution.
D. Contractor Responsibility: It shall be the responsibility of the electrical contractor to obtain any required permits. (Ord. 1993-03, 9-7-1993)
