9-2-7: DISCONTINUED WATER SERVICE:
   A.   Notice Required: Requests must be received by the city at least two (2) working days (48 hours) prior to the date the service is to be terminated. Requests made on Friday, Saturday or Sunday will not be terminated until the following Monday. Same day termination request will result in a fee, at the prevailing rate as set by city council, to be charged against the deposit.
   B.   Temporary Turn Off:
      1.   Temporary water turn off for the purpose of customer repairs is provided by the city at no charges to the customer.
      2.   Temporary water turn off for all other reasons will only be done during regular business hours and carry a service charge of the prevailing rate set by city council.
   C.   Payment Of Final Bill: When water service is discontinued the customer shall pay the final bill, based on the meter reading as of the date the meter is shut off and any other then due and owing charges before any deposit is refunded.
   D.   Refund Of Deposit: The meter deposit, or balance thereof, shall be refunded once all authorized charges have been subtracted. Such balance shall only be refunded in the case of a final disconnect. (5-3-2001)
