A. Access Required: Construction or placement of structures, walls, pavement, facilities, things, materials or debris, except authorized driveways, over the top of or near public water and sewer main lines or appurtenances thereto, such that the mains cannot be accessed for maintenance, repair or replacement, shall not be allowed.
B. Exceptions: The city may grant exceptions in cases where construction or placement makes it impractical to relocate mains or appurtenances thereto only if the owner indemnifies the city from any loss or damage that may directly or indirectly be occasioned by such construction or placement.
C. Relocation Of Mains: Relocation of mains or appurtenances thereto shall be at the sole cost of the owner and according to city specifications and standards. (Ord. 1997-11, 10-7-1997)
